one thing i just love about what i do is meeting cool new people.  via courtney stone fullerton, a friend from college and calliespondence client that runs a honey and beeswax business in montana (i mean how cool is that), i met amy evans who is also a northwestern entrepreneur.  she left a career as an attorney to start bon lemon this past summer with a storefront in olympia, washington and is working her tail off doing trunk shows all over her local region.  the great thing is...she donates 10% of all of her trunk show profits to charity, to help other people who may have a few "lemons" in their life.  what a win-win - you get a pretty piece of jewelry to wear and you get to feel good about where your money went.  i love it!  check out their line - you will not be disappointed.  i have my eye on a few pieces for the fall for SURE.
she asked me to design some bon lemon notecards with her logo, tagline and lined envelopes evoking the look of the website and blog, which are lemons (natch).  we printed the cards with an olive color of thermography ink on ivory cardstock, and lined the kraft paper envelopes (love...) with a gorgeous lemon foliage print that i found online. the result was especially delicious.
amy's extended tagline is "when life gives you lemons...it helps to put on something sparkly."  it truly does, doesn't it?!
be sure to hop on over to bon lemon to get glammed up (and feel good doing it) this fall!!
