hot pink and navy blue monogrammed notecards

hot pink (or magenta...is that the more "refined" way to refer to the color?) and navy blue are such a fun color combination.  if you need evidence, check out mary kelly and ben's wedding with that very color palette.  lovely!

for my very good friend brooke's 30th birthday, i wanted to create something special for her...so i thought i would give her a set of thirty monogrammed notecards with lined envelopes!  30 for 30.  (btw, i am the queen of practical gifts...i love giving people things they would need anyway.  i seriously would love to receive stamps as a gift - i mean, think about it.  you always need them, and what a chore is it to go to the post office?  so anyway, notecards - which you always need - seem like a great gift to me.)  i turned to this new favorite color combination of mine, inspired by the liner paper i found...i had to trim around my drool to make these liners actually.

i found the "F" for her last name initial in an old victorian alphabet book...different and fun!
happy 30th year brooke!!!
