thursday tidbits

for a short week, these few days have been action packed!  aside from the technical drama (which has resolved itself today ... hurrah!), we had the big first day of school for rush.

it was his first day in the preschool 3s class...which you have to be potty trained for.  i am SO UNBELIEVABLY INCREDIBLY TERRIBLY glad to mention that he has been getting all of his boom into the toilet for about a month now (knock on wood).  phew, that was a long summer of cleaning up s&*%.  this helped us immensely:

every time he would fill a chart, we had a component to a super cool lightning mcqueen race track for him.  he loved it and would say that he wanted to "do four booms" if he had four empty boxes until the next piece...  sweet fellow, it was hard to break it to him that he can only do one at a time.

i forgot i still had this on my memory card...but here is the best shot we got from last year, the first day of the 2s class.

meanwhile, rinne is a budding recycler (YES!!!).  really though, why do i bother buying toys.

those larabars (they have them at costco) are the bomb diggity.  paleo, all "real" ingredients and you can grab them on the go?  love it.
