missing: boughs of holly, christmas tree and other material items reminiscent of holiday season

y'all.  my undecked halls are getting a little ridiculous.  the only (and i mean only) piece of christmas decoration in our whole home is this wreath, and that is just because i ordered it back in october from my garden club.  and look where it is - slumped over beneath a side table in our dining room looking sad.  and sharing a seat on the floor next to it, what else - a box of envelopes.

actually, after i took that picture i felt so guilty that i went and put him on our door.  although i wanted to hang him from a nice, thick piece of ribbon and place him between some white plantation shutters in our living room so the room would have that pine smell...oh well.  at least he's living a little better life now.
