modern monogrammed stationery

a little while back, you saw kristen and james' wedding with a deep purple and rich yellow color scheme.  how fun and unexpected are those two colors together?  as you probably know by now, i do love me some unexpected color pairings and choices.  (i won't go as far as pink for a boy's birth announcement, but i draw the line just before that.)  so when i was coming up with ideas for my own personal stationery, i landed at these two colors together.  to me, it feels like a contemporary palette and therefore went perfectly with my modern monogram: big C for 'callie' on top, little S and B for 'shockley burnette' below.

now i just need to use it up so i can design something new!
