random monday notes

good monday morning to you!  we are amidst a "snowpocolypse" in atlanta right now.  all of the grocery stores are sold out of milk, bread and eggs and everything is closed today...it's kind of nice.  it's like time stopped but the good daytime tv shows are still on.  fabulous!  and if you don't believe me about the grocery stores...check this out.  this was taken last night at a local atlanta grocer.

not one box of eggs left.  i guess people really get into baking or at least whipping up some frittatas when it snows here.
i've got a couple of random things to share with you...

ok, i went to costco the other day and it was OFF THE CHAIN.  i swear that place gets more hip every time i go.  i spotted kiehl's tonor, stila lip gloss, la crema wine, coke in the glass bottles (great for parties - and in bulk already, no less) and all kinds of organic food and produce that really blow my skirt up.  i was seriously cruising through the aisles muttering "no way?!"

KIEHL'S, people.  this is huge.

on a side note, i just tried this body wash and it's awesome.  lathers just enough and leaves your skin soft.  i'm a fan.

i saw this picture yesterday of olivia palermo (seriously, who is this girl?  i see her everywhere and am not sure why.  aside from the fact the girl can dress...) and what utter perfection this outfit is.  love every detail.  including fresh mani...and i kicked off resolution #4 this weekend btw...

ok, another random tidbit about a discount store.  do you guys know calypso st. barth?  i was just introduced to them this past summer.  they are a new love; we've gone out a few times and i really like them.  i purchased one of my current favorite summer dresses from them on our first date...it's a vivacious color of green, has wonderful fabric detail and feels great (read: no waistline) on.  i hesisitate to show you guys this picture because my hair looks weird and rush looks confused, and i won't even mention how you can see through rbb's white pants to his boxer pattern.  but i do want you to see this dress.  so here.  another one by dylan blue photography.

i love wearing it.  and i got it on sale!  how awesome is that?  that's another reason i'm going to keep this love affair going - they have amazing sales.  in fact, right now, they are offering an extra 50% off of their sale items.  OMG!  that's huge.  may have to do some snow day retailing over there later. 

anyway, the real news...is that target is doing a designer collaboration line with calypso st. barth!  hurrah!!  it is in stores may 1.  i may camp out the night before...who's with me?!
